Over the past 25 years the BWH/Harvard Cohorts Biorepository has developed a comprehensive collection of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols for specimen collections, processing, and analysis.
Standard operating procedures are regularly reviewed to incorporate the latest best practices and evidence-based assessments of methods and reagents.
Strict standards, outlined in a Governance Plan, are applied to the analysis of biological specimens and associated data integrity and comparability. Data security and participant confidentiality is maintained to the highest degree.
